September reminded us that Loaves & Fishes is about so much more than what happens on a Saturday morning.
This month, we had the opportunity to share our ministry with people from across the Diocese at the Diocesan Convention. We began our new hosted coffee hours at St. Andrew’s, creating another place to gather, talk and build relationships. And perhaps best of all, we welcomed many new volunteers into the Loaves & Fishes family.
Different people. Different places. Different ways of getting involved.
But they all lead back to the same thing: community.
Of course, while the circle was growing, the work continued. Week after week, volunteers prepared and served meals, filled Pantry Bags, distributed clothing and household necessities, and welcomed our guests with the dignity and kindness that are at the heart of this ministry.
Every new volunteer, every new connection and every new opportunity to tell our story makes that circle just a little wider.
And there's plenty of room for more. 💙
